Jessie moved to Aotearoa from Canada in 2015 and quickly found her place in the community sector. Her work has centred on helping non-profits thrive - building capacity, securing funding, and supporting strong leadership, always with a focus on empowerment and meaningful outcomes.

Outside of her mahi, she enjoys exploring new places, spending time with whānau and friends, and getting lost in a good book. Jessie was drawn to the Christchurch Aunties for their kaupapa of getting what women need to them quickly and with dignity, and feels privileged to be part of such a dedicated and compassionate team.
